渋いヴォーカルとソウルフルな作風で人気のピアニスト、Les McCannの74年作。プロデュースは勿論、エレピやArpシンセ、クラヴィやドラムも自身で担当。たゆたうシンセメロが心地いいメロウチューンA1「Sometimes I Cry」を始め、しっかり打ったリズムに粘着度高めのクラヴィ等が絡むファンク・ジャズA4「The Dunbar High School Marching Band」、タイトなドラムにスペイシーなシンセが絡むブレイクから始まるPete Rockもお気に入りのB1「The Harlem Buck Strut Dance」等、メロウでソウルフルでスペイシーな曲を満載！サンプリングソースとしてもまだまだ抜けそうな1枚です！
